What's up with that fish?

the fish is a sly reference to guy maddin's films, he's a winnipeg director that i know who has been a huge influence on me, and whose early films were shot similarly in an old style and often contained fish. but really i just wanted to introduce some absurdity into the film wherever possible, and fish are a well-used surrealistic trope. also, the fish is an in-joke between me and my girlfriend. its name is "Lunch."
