Summertime!!!

it is officially summer. i am done my essays, marking, etc..... it was a hell of a lot of work but i am so glad i went full throttle and got ALL of my course work done.... no more courses for this kid, ever. unless i'm being paid to teach them. not that i mind the courses, just the course work... and the "not being paid."

so now i'm in saskatchewan visiting with mandy, will be visiting here until the end of may, then presenting a paper at a conference in toronto, then back in calgary for june. most of june, anyway. while i'm here i'm going to enjoy the sun and hanging out with mandy and will get some writing and studying done... got to get working towards those comprehensive exams... also got some book reviews to write and some other stuff.... after a week's break i'll be back to work on Kanada. i'll be finishing a draft of that manuscript up this summer, and hopefully finishing up some screenplays too.
